A systematic review and meta-analysis of 32 RCTs (n=2,434) found that traditional Chinese exercise was associated with statistically significant effects on 6-minute walk distance, quality of life scores, anxiety, and depression in COPD patients. No significant effect was observed for FEV1/FVC ratio, and considerable heterogeneity existed across most outcomes.
