A systematic review and meta-analysis of 15 studies (n=1,257) found that technology-based lifestyle interventions were associated with significantly greater weight loss (mean difference -1.01 kg; 95% CI, -1.86 to -0.16; P=.03) compared to controls, but showed no significant differences in glycemic measures. Certainty of evidence for all pooled outcomes was rated very low.
